The Story of Star of Dune

Every brand has a beginning. Ours starts with a city and two people who refused to stay comfortable in it.

Nusrat's story starts with a sketchbook. She studied fashion design, then went deeper with a masters in luxury branding in London, learning how the world's most loved houses are built. There she created LUCE, her first label, silk pieces with purpose woven into every one, worn across the UK, Europe, and India. Then the world stopped. The pandemic paused LUCE and pulled her home, and the road eventually led to Dubai, where she spent years building brands across fashion, hospitality, and beauty. Always beautiful work, always for someone else's name.

Until the question she had answered once before became impossible to ignore again. If I built it before, why not build it again, bigger, here, for us?
Rohan has called Dubai home for thirty years. He watched sand turn into skyline, watched people arrive with nothing and build everything. Somewhere along the way, a quiet promise took root in him. One day, he would build something of his own too. Not for the noise of it, but to leave a mark in the city that raised him.
So we stopped waiting for the right moment and made one.

Star of Dune is that promise kept. The dune is where we come from. Sand that holds no shape until someone insists it does. The star is what we believe about the people who wear us. You do not need an occasion, a title, or anyone's permission to shine. You already do.
